Dear Junkyarders, rumors have been circulating after a viral video showing Abuja’s favorite spot getting demolished. We will like to take this time out to clarify the situation.
The Abuja Parks and Recreation department alongside our management felt it most appropriate to remove the extension from our main structure as it was not captured in the general approved design of our layout.
This has not in anyway affected business as we‘ve been opened since the day after the incident and have maintained the same opening times since then.
We offer our sincere apologies to our esteemed customers that were affected on the day while we assure the general public that Junkyard is compliant towards the various legal bodies governing our business.
